This camellia has been growing in my yard for at least 30 years. I’ve only noticed a seed pod about 3 different times. This year, I noticed around 10 seed pods. I may have to wait until August or October to gather the seeds because it will take that long for the pods to ripen. The first time I noticed the pods, I was able to gather, plant, and grow a camellia plant. It has not flowered yet, but I live to hope that it will one day. I will keep my eye on these pods and be ready to gather the seeds once the pods split open.
