Weeks Bay Pitcher Plant Bog and Kurt G. Wintermeyer Nature Trail: The best time to see the pitcher plants growing in the bog is during March and April. I stopped by in November and was able to find a few that were not totally brown. A pitcher plant is carnivorous.
