This pair of Pileated Woodpeckers must live close to my neighborhood. I see or hear them at least once a week. I was very lucky that they came into my yard and I could get close for some photos. Pileated Woodpeckers are the biggest woodpecker. They are about the size of a crow. I love the red stripe on the male woodpecker’s cheek. The female has a black stripe. Both have the red crest.
