It is hard to get a good photo of a Ruby Crowned Kinglet because it does not stay still for very long. It is constantly moving from one spot to another. Of course, that is how I find them in my yard. Their movement is what draws my attention. If you are lucky, you will see a small ruby spot on the male’s head.
