As you leave the waterway behind 5 Rivers and enter Blakeley River, there is a small sand bar that the birds like to use. From the boat tour, we could see Caspian, Royal, and Sandwich Terns, Black-bellied Plover, Sandpipers, and Laughing Gulls.
