I planted zinnias in a pot last summer. I just thought they would bloom only one year. This summer, zinnias started blooming all around the pot from last year. Apparently those zinnias seeded the area around the pot and they waited to grow until this summer. It was quite a nice surprise. This Giant Swallowtail butterfly was happy to find them as well.
