Fat Albert, a C-130J Super Hercules, is a support aircraft that is needed to move personnel and equipment between Blue Angel air show sites. I have seen it on the flight line, but this is the first time I’ve been able to take photos of it flying. I hadn’t realized it is a Marine plane instead of a Navy plane.
I was on board the Pensacola Bay City Ferry when I took these photos during a Blue Angel practice session. Hello to Sharon, who I met on the ferry. I hope you like the photos. Keep looking; tomorrow I will have more.
