I went to a star gazing activity off of the newly opened Gulf State Park Pier, but all we could see was the clouds and storm for most of the allotted time. Venus did wink at us a couple of times, but not for long. Even if we couldn’t star gaze successfully, it was nice to finally have the pier open.
