Don’t trust me on this mushroom identification. I used the Google app and it gave me multiple identification choices and none of them were identical to my photos. If this is Chicken of the Woods, then it is safe to eat. If this is Jack-o-Lantern fungus, then it is poisonous. I thought they were interesting, so I wanted to get a photo. They looked similar to the Laughing Gym mushrooms, but smaller and flatter.
