My hibiscus had a smaller bloom, so I looked it up to see what the reason might be. I found that fertilizer or extreme heat could be the reason. I don’t use fertilizer and it has been slightly cooler than it was this summer so I’m not sure if those are the correct reasons. I noticed the leaves seem to be lighter in color so I decided to plant the hibiscus instead of leaving it in the pot. If this works, you’ll see more photos in the future.
