Not only will you see Great Blue Herons on the beach at Fort Morgan, but you can also find them in the pine trees. It is amazing that these large birds are able to fly through the trees in order to perch on a limb. The wingspan of a Great Blue Heron is 5.5 to 6.6 feet from wing tip to wing tip.
