Northern Harrier

When it is flying away from you, the easiest way to identify a Northern Harrier is the white rump band. When they are flying towards you, their flat owl like face easily identifies them. No other raptor has a face that looks like them. They fly low to the ground so it is hard to get a clear photo most of the time. This one was flying along the hillside at Magnolia landfill so I was able to get sky behind it.
