The Texas Star Hibiscus has a beautiful scarlet flower, but it does not last very long. My blooms have only lasted a day. The Brown-eyed Susan flowers have lasted for weeks. The good thing is that the Texas Star Hibiscus should continue to bloom into the fall and again in the spring.
