While standing on the Fairhope Municipal Pier, you can watch the Brown Pelicans fly in, over, and around the pier. They fly down to fish or sit on a post. A flock of pelicans is known by many names, including a bunch, fleet, herd, pod, pouch, raft, rookery, scoop, or squadron.
