The Duke out of Dauphin Island Marina is the only boat tour I’ve found that will take you out to see Sand Island Lighthouse. The trip takes about an hour one way. Once you are away from the island, the main scenery is the clouds upon the water and other boats traveling by. We did see an occasional dolphin pod and sea birds.
