While crossing the Fish River bridge on Hwy. 98, I noticed hundreds of pelicans floating on the water. I love pelicans. I turned around and went back so I could take a few photos. A grouping of pelicans has many different names. Fleet is used when they are fishing together. They do look like a fleet of ships.
