Chipping Sparrows visit my yard during the winter to eat the bird seed I have spread on the path. Although I’ve read they will go to feeders, that is not where I see them. If they are in my yard during the summer, I do not see them because they stay in the trees.
Carolina Wrens are in my yard throughout the year. For a little bird, they have a very strong voice. You’d expect to see a bigger bird when you hear their song. Only the male sings. It has a lot of different songs and calls.
