There are at least two black and white birds that frequently visit my yard: the Carolina Chickadee and Downy Woodpecker. Both are small birds. It is only recently that the Downy has started visiting my feeders. The Chickadee has been coming to my platform feeders filled with black oil sunflower seed for the past 30 years.
