The Western Tanager is a first for me, so I’ve added it to my Life List. I spotted a pair of Tanagers in the Foley yard on Orchid Ave. It kept showing up on my Birding App and the second time I rode past the yard, I found it. One thing that is distinctive to me is the yellow stripe above the white stripes.
