Only recently have I heard the belief that when you see a cardinal a passed loved one or angel is near. Some believe it is a reminder of God’s presence and a symbol of faith. If that is true, then I am truly blessed because I see Northern Cardinals everyday in my yard. The most I have counted at one time is around 20. It is hard to make an accurate count because they fly from place to place as I am counting. I’ve always loved having cardinals in my yard, but now they have an even more special meaning when I see them.
