Another Life List bird spotted at the house on Orchid Ave in Foley. It is a rare bird for this area but a few migrate to the east coast for the winter. I was very blessed to see it! I wouldn’t have known this wasn’t a female Ruby if the home owner hadn’t pointed out that the wings are longer and the tail is shorter than a Ruby. A Black-chinned will also pump its tail.
This Rufous Hummingbird was also spotted in the yard.
