The full moon in February is known as the Snow Moon because February is normally the month with the heaviest snowfall. The moon appeared on February 1st. It is hard to take an accurate photo of the moon. The sight seen is not necessarily what appears in the camera. It depends on the camera settings. I always take a lot of photos and change the settings trying to get a good photo.
The night before the full moon, it was cloudy and the moon was a waxing gibbous moon. The planet Jupiter appeared on the right of the moon. You can make it out in the middle photo.
