My Google app identified this as Chinese Fringe Flower. If you look up Chinese Fringe tree, you will find a similar tree but with white flowers. I don’t remember noticing this tree in my neighbors yard previously when I walk, but I did this year. It may be because there had been a big cedar tree growing in front of it that was recently cut down. I’m glad I finally noticed it because it is a very pretty tree.
