I used the Merlin app to identify this bird so I hope it is correct. eBird gives this information about the non breeding / immature LB Dowitcher: Nonbreeding plumage is brownish-gray overall with a paler belly; extremely similar to Short-billed but averaging slightly darker and less patterned, especially on the breast and sides.
