On Tuesday’s Blue Angels’s practice, they met up with the Thunderbirds for a fly-by over Pensacola Beach. If I had known, I probably would have stopped at the beach to get a good view. Luckily the jets flew by Fort Pickens on their way to the Pensacola Beach Pier. We also got to see Ernie fly by before the practice began. Ernie is taking the place of Fat Albert during the 2026 season. Ernie, a C-130, serves as logistic support for the air shows.
