With storms forecast for the weekend, there wasn’t much hope to see many balloons flying during the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival. I was keeping up with the possibility of a balloon glow on FB when I saw they were going to start earlier so I got in my car and drove to OWA. As I was parking, I could see the tethered balloons floating in the field. By the time I got to the balloon site, only two balloons were still in the air. It was too windy for the balloons to be in the air. There was one inflated balloon in a different area so I was able to get a few photos before it was deflated. Since they couldn’t have a balloon glow, they had a candlestick.
