This Summer Tanager has been singing in my neighborhood for weeks, but I could never find it. I was very surprised when I followed its song to a branch in my backyard. It even stayed in place and allowed me to get a few photos before flying across the creek to another branch and then back again. You would think a bright red bird would be easy to spot, but it isn’t.
