Baldwin County farmers plant cotton fields in the fall. I like driving by and seeing the fluffy white cotton bolls and the wrapped modules after the cotton has been picked. When my mom was little, she lived on a farm and they went into the fields to pick cotton by hand. Now cotton is picked by a machine that can pick, strip, and roll the cotton to prepare it for the cotton gin processing.
