Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warblers are winter visitors to my yard. It is considered a winter warbler because it doesn’t need to migrate like most other birds.
Final Moments
A delay of only a moment kept me from getting the sun above the Mobile Bay horizon. I was just in time to witness the final moments of the sunset. You can see from the clock time how quickly the sun sets once it reaches the waterline.
Downtown Lights in Fairhope
The lights in Fairhope are turned on before Christmas and I believe turned off after Mardi Gras. I don’t go downtown Fairhope much at night, so I’m not sure if they are on all year round, but they make a point of mentioning “turning on the lights” at Christmas.
